Make Potassium Nitrate
Here, I will make potassium nitrate (KNO3) at home using readily available chemicals. Sorry that I don't have a video showing it reacting with sugar, but I didn't have time to film it. A video showing it will come out later.
First, you measure out 40 grams of ammonium nitrate (NH4NO3) and pour it in 100 milliliters of water. Then, filter it into 37 grams of potassium chloride (KCl) and mix until everything is dissolved (it may need heating). Finally, put it in an ice bath, and filter off the crystals. Desiccate it to get it dry, then store in an airtight container until use.
